Seabrook TX. resides in Harris County, however it shares in the Clear Creek Independent School District with Cities located in Galveston County. Seabrook is bordered on the East side by Galveston Bay . Seabrook's historic district is located near the water with the bulk of it's shops and restaurants off NASA Rd. and Hwy 146.
Seabrook is known for its vast variety of shore birds and is in fact a bird sanctuary on the largest migratory paths in North America. Seabrook is on the Clear Lake Look of the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail. Public boat launches are located in Seabrook to provide access to great fishing.
The City has interconnected Hike and Bike trails that span over 10 miles connecting the cities parks.
Seabrook consists of a lot of older neighborhoods and a lot of independently built homes. There are a few scattered new homes still being constructed but Seabrook has no real Master planned neighborhoods. This all contributes to Seabrook's Eclectic charm.
Whenever you come to Seabrook don't miss out on one of its hidden gems; the Waterfront district with a wealth of Fresh Seafood Shops, where you can buy fresh Gulf Shrimp, Crabs, Oysters and Fish that were just a day earlier swimming in the Gulf.
